Description
The Camillus BARBER 7" Folding Knife is a take on an old classic. Inspired by the original design of a barber's straight razor, but elevated to the Camillus standard of strength and durability, we chose to combine a Glass Filled Nylon handle and 440 Steel Blade for to create a well rounded, robust folding knife with the stylistic flare of a straight razor. The 440 steel takes a nice edge and is fairly easy to re-sharpen, and it is bonded with Titanium for added resistance against rust and corrosion. On top of this, it makes the blade 3x harder than untreated steel so the clean edge of the 440 steel can be maintained with fewer instances of re-sharpening. The handle is made of Glass Filled Nylon, a material that is used in many of our knives due to the secure grip it creates. To achieve this rigidity, we add glass-filled materials to polypropylene, ABS and other substrates.
