Description
The Walther PDP Folder brings the attributes of the highly successful Performance Duty Pistol into the realm of tactical knives. Its carefully chosen materials and thoughtful design appeal to both firearm enthusiasts and knife aficionados.
At the heart of this knife lies the Spearpoint blade, coated for durability and crafted from the exceptionally edge-retentive D2 steel. Measuring 92 mm in length and 3.6 mm in thickness, this blade is well-suited for a wide range of demanding tasks in everyday life, professional deployment, or outdoor activities. The blade securely locks into place via a stainless steel liner lock and can be effortlessly opened using the detachable thumb stud on either side, drawing inspiration from the Walther PDP pistol's magazine release mechanism.
The influence of the successful pistol is unmistakable in the full-size grip, featuring PDP lettering and G10 handle scales adorned with a one-piece FRN overlay, mirroring the original Performance Duty texture. The scales also incorporate the pistol slide's prominently textured serrations, enhancing grip.
For convenient carry, the knife can be stowed and kept within easy reach using a Deep-Carry clip. A discreetly placed lanyard hole can be found on the rear spacer.
The Walther PDP folder series extends to other models with various blade shapes, including Spearpoint, Tanto, and Tanto with partial serrations. Additionally, these knives are available in four handle colors: Black, FDE (Flat Dark Earth), OD Green (Olive Drab Green), and Tungsten Gray.
